🛤️ Learning journey

Students will engage in collaborative learning with international education students from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering deep cultural understanding, sensitivity, and global awareness.

Through three dynamic modules, they will progress from building foundational knowledge to critical reflection and, ultimately, to meaningful action. By the end of the program, students will have developed essential skills, attitudes, and values that will enrich both their professional careers and personal growth, preparing them to become proactive global educators and change-makers.

This module introduces the foundations of sustainable development and global education, equipping future educators with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to integrate sustainability into their teaching practices. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and self-reflection, students will explore key global challenges, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and their role in shaping responsible, globally competent learners.

This module explores the interconnectedness between local and global issues, encouraging students to analyze how global challenges manifest in their own communities. Through experiential learning activities such as community walks and ethnographic research, students will identify sustainability challenges in their surroundings and reflect on their role as educators in fostering global awareness and local action. By bridging theory with real-world contexts, this module enhances students’ ability to teach with a «glocal» mindset—thinking globally while acting locally.

This module focuses on translating knowledge and reflection into meaningful action. Students will engage with the Action Taking Cycle, applying it to real-world sustainability challenges in education. Through collaborative planning and hands-on projects, they will develop concrete strategies to drive change in their communities. By the end of the module, students will have designed and evaluated an action plan, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and mindset to be proactive global educators committed to sustainability and positive transformation.
